Work on the Centre for Fenland Studies at Ayscoughfee Hall in Spalding is progressing. The local history book collection has been moved across and new purpose built bookcases installed. During June the Centre will be fitted out and the research material displayed with the aim of launching it at the end of the month.
Discussions are also taking place with one of the first projects – a VCH ‘short’ on the history of Spalding.
