Mind Uploading: Science Fiction or Science?

Mind uploading can be conceptualised as the ultimate expression of neurotechnology, transforming the human brain and mind and allowing us to exist in a non-biological form. The lecture considers its implications and references recent advances in neurotechnology such as Brain To Computer Interfaces (BCIs). The talk showcases an innovative research method – a storytelling website – which follows the fictional stories of 2 mind uploaded individuals as a way of exploring these complex concepts.
