Visit to Brackenborough, Fotherby & Little Grimsby

A guided tour of Brackenborough to view the DMV, moated Hall site, brick pit and recently conserved folly which was built of the masonry from the mediaeval Fotherby church.

We will start with a welcome from the Bennett family, tea and coffee with facilities available.

Please wear good footwear as we will walk across a grass field. Total distance about 1.5 miles in easy stages. We will drive to Fotherby to eat our own packed lunch at Fotherby church which has full facilities, then on to Little Grimsby where we will view a Lancaster crash site and visit the church where Tom and Margaret Wintringham are buried, though ongoing repair work may prevent our seeing the church interior.
