Louth Museum – Guided Visit to Brinkhill
Guided visit to Brinkhill
Sunday, 7th July 2024 2:00pm by Tony Baker, Dave Start and Jean Howard
A guided tour of the Wolds village of Brinkhill to view moated sites, the church, mud-and-stud cottages, and the adapted buildings that were once the village shop, the chapel and the school.
We will stop along the way for a drink and cake at the church hall, which has facilities that will be available to us all afternoon.
Please wear good footwear as we will walk along a footpath across a grass field. Total distance about 2½ miles in easy stages.
Please park at the western edge (LN118QZ; dunes.originate.pushing) of the village at the bottom of Harrington Hill, where the start of a bridleway offers broad grass verges for a dozen cars
Cost £12 per person. Booking essential
