Louth Museum – Flood Walk
Flood Walk – Dr Richard Gurnham
The walk will follow the course of the River Lud, with a description of the many dramatic and tragic events of the Flood in May 1920.
Starting at 4 pm from Bridge Street Car Park, and finishing near the Woolpack Inn. Duration of walk 1.5-2 hours. Easy flat walking. Please wear sensible shoes.
The cost of the walk is £5 per adult, and accompanied children under 16 go free. Funds benefit Louth Museum. Maximum number for each walk will be 25 persons.
To secure a place on this walk, come to Louth Museum and pay the £5 booking fee. Numbers on each walk are limited, so if you arrive at the starting point of the walk without a prior booking, you will be allowed to join only if spaces are available. Booking will start on 5 April. Louth Museum is open Wednesdays to Saturdays, 10 am to 4 pm.
