DAILY BREAD IN MEDIEVAL WISBECH
Taking an imaginary walk though the Wisbech of 1190, we look at the way people of all classes earned their daily bread. From the lords of the manor to the lowliest peasants, all played their part in the economic and social system of early Wisbech.
This talk will be coupled with the launch of Diane’s new book
THE CHARTER OF OSWY AND LEOFLEDE
Copies of which will be on sale at the talk.
