Deepings Heritage – Making a Living in the Medieval Fenlands

On Friday, 14th February, Dr Michael Gilbert will describe how the 15th century was a time of great change in the Fenlands, following the previous century’s plague and famine. From his study of manorial records and wills, he will reveal how it brought wealth to some, but poverty and hardship to others.

Michael Gilbert’s talk will begin at 7.30 pm in the main hall of the Community Centre, Market Deeping. Everyone is welcome. Admission £3 for non-members.
