Deepings Heritage – History of the Postal Service

At our next meeting on Friday, 10th November, Keith Hansell will describe how postal deliveries evolved from the days of individual horse-riders to mail coaches, rail and motor transport. As a former postman, he will also focus on the men and women who walked many miles in all weather, keeping rural communities connected.

Keith’s talk begins at 7.30 pm in the main hall of the Community Centre in Market Deeping. There is an admission charge of £3 for non-members. Everyone is welcome.
