“Between the Cracks: Underfloor Archaeology at Oxburgh Hall” presented by Anna Forrest, Cultural Heritage Curator at the National Trust. Anna has worked for the National Trust in the East of England since 2003, first as Assistant Curator and from 2006 as Curator. Having studied Medieval Studies and Architectural History at undergraduate and postgraduate level, she has worked with a varied portfolio of NT properties, including the restoration of the Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds, the “Ickworth Lives” project to restore and interpret the below stairs areas in the rotunda, and the complete re-display of Lavenham Guildhall. For the past 3 years Anna has had the privilege of working solely at Oxburgh, Norfolk, during the £6m “Raise the Roof” project, where she has been leading a research programme alongside the building works.
